Life is full of people with broken dreams and truncated destinies, living in the wilderness of self-defeat. For such, their experiences are usually clothed in different shades of pain and sense numbing-trauma. They don’t believe in the place called tomorrow, or a new beginning.

The ability to rise from the ashes of defeat and start afresh in the joy and strength of the Lord is what makes the difference between success and failure. This is what Thomas Edison, the inventor of electricity, did when he lost his laboratory, the power house of his dream, in a fire inferno. As he watched his future burnt up into an irretrievable debris, he made up his mind to embark on a new beginning at the age of 67! He was not afraid to start all over again.

It is interesting to know that God introduced the bible with a very seemingly hopeless situation. After the creation of the heaven and the earth, darkness and emptiness filled His creation.  Scripturally, darkness represents evil and every work of the devil and his minions. While God was at the business of creation, the spoiler (the devil and the fallen angels), were bent on truncating the divine plan and order of God.

Your prosperity in every facet of life is primarily tied to the prosperity of your soul. Until your soul begins to prosper in the knowledge of the Word of God, you cannot prosper in the situations of life. (Hosea 4:6, Hosea 6:6) When you carefully look at the Word which is the will of God, you will find out that God is not opposed to your prosperity. Biblically, prosperity is not limited to money only but rather includes health, material and spiritual blessings. (John 10:10, Matt. 6:33) god desires you to prosper spirit, soul and body
